Senior Manager, FinTech & Crypto Advisory,
Lucy is a senior member of PwC’s FinTech & Crypto team based in Hong Kong. Lucy supports clients with their business strategy and coordinates crypto related initiatives across the Firm’s various lines of service including; tax & accounting, governance & controls, legal & regulatory, cyber security and advisory. As part of PwC’s crypto efforts in Asia, Lucy has worked on numerous projects for crypto exchanges, crypto funds, token sales (Initial Coin Offerings “ICOs”/Security Token Offerings “STOs”), traditional financial institutions moving into the crypto space, as well as regulators across the globe with regards to their crypto asset framework. Prior to joining PwC in 2018, Lucy spent 15 years in banking and asset management in London and Singapore. She worked for Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Schroders and Kleinwort Benson and spent her early career working in journalism with ABC News. She is an active participant in the wider FinTech ecosystem across Asia-Pacific and representsPwC in Blockchain focused activities as a committee member of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong. Lucy is also a committee member of the Alternative Investment Manager Association’s (AIMA) Digital Assets and Blockchain Group. This is a global senior-level steering group tasked with driving AIMA’s policy engagement, educational initiatives and operational guidance on all aspects of digital assets and distributed ledger technology (DLT). Lucy also presents regularly at FinTech and Crypto events including; Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, Central Bank seminars, Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong, International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), keynotes for large global banks, top universities in Hong Kong as well as multiple crypto industry events such as HongKong Blockchain Week. Lucy graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Modern History (Bachelor of Arts & Master of Arts). She holds a Type 6 license with the SFC of Hong Kong for advising on corporate finance activities and is also a Chartered Wealth Manager.
