Jack Yiu graduated in University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in civil and environmental engineering. He is specialised in ground engineering, and with genuine interest and strong technical background, he has been involved in a number of major infrastructure projects both in Hong Kong and Overseas, including London 2012 Olympics, Singapore MRT Downtown Line, 30km cross-bay link in Brunei, Hong Kong Express Rail Link and recently offshore wind farms in Japan. Jack currently is an associate director in Arup Hong Kong, leading a team of 20 engineers in the geotechnics group. He has been actively developing advanced modelling and computation methods for various engineering applications. He is also part of the team implementing digital design and transformation in his group.
