Panel discussion - How smart talent to be cultivated and utilized in the Era of Cloud, 5G and AIoT
In the past few years many people have increasingly concerned the smart city development. Hong Kong has been seen as an international finance and trading center and it has well adopted advanced technology. In the era of 5G and new economy, many cities become more focused on how they could better incorporate innovative technology like Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain to enhance the quality and performance of urban services.
To establish a smarter and more connected city, talent is unavoidably the most important element. This panel is to have the insights from talent cultivation experts of how a life-long talent cultivation journey could be better paved, which includes STEM & AI education for 5-15 years old, vocational education of data science and cybersecurity for 15-20 years old, R&D projects in the universities like Finland-HK H2O program, and IoT international standards adoptions like IEEE IoT Index (IDex P2668).
